  1. That is politically true as well as within our own circle of friends and family.

    • Yes, now we need to figure out how to get people to understand there truly is no need to be ‘right.’ and that we can both be right and wrong at the same time, in fact (fragments). The answer is so simple, yet our hot-wired brains make it impossible to see the most obvious of answers, especially in cases where emotions run high. Survival gets in the way. The amygdala creates a chemical surge that stops info to the neocortex, the rational brain. We have to teach ourselves to stop and take the time to let those chemicals cede before we make react. 99% of the time, we are not in the kind of danger where we need to react right away, yet most of us do. Time to slow down, I guess :-)
